Eighteenth Century Collections Online

Members of the University now have access to the Eighteenth Century Collections Online This collection has been purchased by JISC, and offers online access to to over 180,000 titles (200,000 volumes) and nearly 33 million pages published between 1701 and 1800. "ECCO Parts 1 and 2 include books and directories, Bibles, sheet music, sermons, advertisements, and works by many well-known and lesser-known authors. Most titles are in English, however scholars will also find material in French, German, Latin, Ancient Greek, Italian and Welsh. Included are works from women writers of the 18th Century, collections on the French Revolution, and numerous editions of the works of Shakespeare. Multiple editions of each individual work are offered to enable scholars to make textual comparisons of the works. New material in ECCO Part 2 includes 96 new editions of Shakespeare and 900 new works and editions by over 400 female authors." JISC Collections Off-campus access to this resource is available using your Athens username and password. These can be found in the passwords file on your F: drive.
